I played a little bit of it, and to me the gameplay is a little bit wonky, even though it's an underwater based gameplay, but of course that feeling is subjective to me, though it's interesting. If you like the Ecco game series, it's for you.

I love ecco the dolphin its excellent quality! I got it for my kids and we enjoy playing together taking turns when they needed help they hand me the controller I love how detailed this game is!

I love how you play as a dolphin. You can swim around (movement is very fluid and easy to control)and you can even to tricks. The main problem with this game is that it's very challenging and difficult. Don't expect to spend 10-20 minutes per level. I spent 2 hours on one level before. So you know, this is an exact port form the Dreamcast version. I loved this version, so I bought it for PS2. Still love it. If you want some real challenge this game's for you. I would have given this a 4.5/5 but it wasn't an option.
The gameplay takes some time to figure out as you're guided by very cryptic messages on what to do. But, after you start figuring things out the game is quite interesting and fun to explore.
