Ford is taking their show on the road visiting 13 cities and inviting customers across the country to put their popular fuel efficient EcoBoost powered vehicles to the test against its competitors while also getting the opportunity to drive the highly anticipated Fiesta ST. While visiting the bay area this week, we invited Ford to bring their fleet of Ecoboost powered cars and trucks to the eBay South Whitman campus.
eBay employees had a choice driving the new Ford Fusion Energi and C-MAX hybrid plugin cars in addition to the Ecoboost powered Escape crossover and F-150 truck. Surprisingly, the big F-150 truck was the popular choice for test drives. Can you guess why?
Everyone had fun test driving the cars/trucks on a sunny afternoon and poking at the new technology that is packed into today’s modern cars.
Thanks to Ford and the EcoBoost Challenge team for allowing us to drive their fleet of fuel-efficient cars, hybrids, and trucks so we could experience how EcoBoost technology delivers unparalleled fuel economy and power.
If you missed the test drives, the EcoBoost Challenge events will take place on Saturdays in June, July, August and September in the locations listed below. Events will include an ST Performance Academy, a hyper-mile challenge for Ford hybrid vehicles and head-to-head competitive drives on an EcoBoost challenge course.
Pre-registration is live at fordecoboostchallengedrive.com. Space is limited and available on first-come, first-served basis.
Events will open at 9 a.m. and run all day through 6 p.m. in most markets. Locations and dates are:
