Limited two CD edition in eco-friendly packaging includes a bonus disc containing demos of three of his biggest hits plus an unreleased poem read by MJ. 2009 release from the late great King of Pop, the musical companion to the major motion picture of the same name. This Is It: The Movie is made up of intimate and spectacular footage filmed during rehearsals for Jackson's proposed July 2009 comeback shows. When he died in June of 2009, he left behind hundreds of hours of footage, which have been edited together to create a glorious tribute to his majestic talents. Disc One features some of his biggest hits sequenced in the same order as they appear in the film. This package includes a lavish 36 page booklet.

The "This Is It" 2-cd set is the up beat music is perfect during a meal, after work, while online and exercising. A 2-cd set at with the extra bonus of the souvenir book is an amazing combination. This is a cd purchase that's definitely worth adding to one's Michael Jackson cd collection or as a birthday, graduation or holiday gift.

"This Is It" is another greatest-hits compilation from one of the worlds greatest artist. It’s a hit parade, from “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” through “Man in the Mirror.” Arranged in the same order as heard in the new "This Is It" concert film, and presumably as they would have been played in the live gigs that Jackson had planned to put on in London. After listening to the soundtrack, I can earnestly proclaim those concerts in London would have been something spectacular to witness, that’s for sure. As a true Jackson fan, I found "This Is It’s" second disc to be of greater interest; Jackson’s own rough demos of three key hits are performed plus an unexpected casually spoken poem. I particularly enjoyed hearing the King of Pop work out the vocal ... "This Is It" is another greatest-hits compilation from one of the worlds greatest artist. Michael Jackson's This Is It CD.
I've been a dedicated fan of Michael Jackson's music ever since he first started. I took my 9 year old and a friend of mine to see this movie and they really loved it. Since my child has seen this movie he got hooked on the super star picking up many of his dance moves from youtube video's. He just perfected the moon walk! Haha way to go! The down fall about it is that my child gets too much into it and dances all the time it's challenging at times to get him to sit down when he needs to. The music on this CD is great to listen to and I'm happy that I got it! My next move is to get the DVD!I've been a dedicated fan of Michael Jackson's music ever since he first started. This is It
Amazing work by the genius that we lost too soon. I can't remember loving Michael this much, but the movie and now this set has made me remember all the great times I've had surrounded by Michael's music. It hurts my heart to hear these songs and to watch the movie. I wish his life hadn't taken the tragic turn it did in his last several years. I wish we hadn't abandoned him as a human being or an artist. I hope he has found peace and I am grateful we have recordings of his remarkable gift.Amazing work by the genius that we lost too soon. This 2 disc set features some of Michael's best work including such smash hits as "Smooth Criminal," "Thriller," "Beat It," "Black or White" & "Billie Jean". The bonus disc is a real treat features 3 demos and MJ reading the poem "Planet Earth". Sends chills up my spine when I hear him talk during the demos and when reciting the poem, gives a little insight into the man that was Michael Jackson. Overall, this collection is a real thrill and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. If you are a true Jacko fan, this collection is certainly a must have addition to your MJ library. Thank you Michael for the music and the memories. I was lucky enough to see him live at Wembley Stadium, London, England back in 1992, with Sheryl Crow as a ...
