    Needs more interactive and less movie

    Wing Commander III was released in 1995 for Panasonic 3DO and the PC, then later ported to Playstation in 1996. This game is a follow up to Wing Commander 2: Vengeance of the Kilrathi. The series is a space combat simulation with a lot of Hollywood type action/acting and tons of FMV (its a 4 disc game) scenes similiar to Star Wars. I mean Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) himself is a main character along with a Chewbacca clone named Hobbs. The gameplay itself is awesome especially with the 3DO Flightstick Pro. The controls are excellent with intense action and interaction with your teammate. Plenty of different ships to control with a nice array of weaponry to use in battles. However being an interactive movie game comes a lot of just watching FMV scenes instead of playing the game. This part ...

    Bummer

    I played this game a great deal in the early-mid 90&apos;s and really enjoyed it, but lost it when we moved. I thought &quot;3DO&quot; was the marketer of a DOS based program. Unfortunately, I have since found out that it was a console, like play station or X-Box, which has its own interface and operating system. I had hoped to play this title on my XP, but it will not boot. The seller was honest about the condition of the package. All the original instruction manuals and diskettes were included. there was a small broken plastic piece in the disk Carrier, right at the centermount, but other than this it was in pristine condition. I just wish I could use the software on XP. Chip S.

    Oh My God I Miss This Game. I Played This Game Back In The Day. Ideas Back Then Were Revolutionary To Everyone. I Still Have My 3DO And I Want To Play This Game Again. I Miss It So Much. You Know Now In Todays Age We Have The PS3 And The Wii And 360. Back Then We Had the 3DO And This Was One Of The Best Games. I am Only 20 But I Remeber Playing This On My Uncle&apos;s 3DO Just Starring At The Screen Going, &quot;Is This For Real!&quot; This Is And Always Will Be One Of The Best Games Of All Time. No Matter What Anyone Says. If You Ever Got A 3DO Buy This One Game. You Won&apos;t Regret It!
