Have you ever wondered how much it'd take to just snap and drive wild through the streets of Chicago, leaving pedestrians diving and mailboxes flying over your hood? <br><br>Welcome to Midtown Madness, Microsoft's latest release in its "Madness" series. Race options include circuit, a race against your competitors, blitz race, which pits you against the clock, checkpoint race, which challenges you to get to the checkpoints before your opponents, and cruise mode, an option to let you drive anywhere as you please.<br><br>As you fly through the streets in one of 10 different car models, which include the new VW Beetle, a city bus, and a Mustang police car, in any of the 5 modes, you'll have to choose the best routes to beat your competitors. Midtown Madness does not have a set 'course'. In fact, your competitors will try every trick in the book to cut corners, including jumping bridges, to finish before you.<br><br>Are you the type of driver who hits everything in your path? Maybe the city bus or the flatbed truck are for you. Are you careful and cautious? The zippy, light VW Beetle would probably be up your alley. Cars take damage, and if you pound your car against enough other vehicles or buildings, you'll see (and hear) the signs of damage.<br><br>Put your foot to the floor and hold on! Is this where you want to go today?

    Great Fun

    This game is great! First off start in racing mode and do couple levels to unlock some cool cars and then go into cruising mode and you can have all sorts of fun driving through Chicago. You can either play it say and be a good driver by keeping the right speed and staying in the right lane. Or you can go crazy and start ramming into other peoples cars. driving off the road, and even jump over bridges while they are going up. Do that and the cops will be after you, now its to see if you can lose them. It has a couple glitches but overall this is a great game for kids all ages and they will love it. Enjoy.

    Midtown Madness PC Game

    Both my 14 yr old and 6 yr old grandsons love this game. It is fast-moving and takes alot of eye-hanc coordination to play. He has many PC games, but this is the younger one's favorite. In fact, the first one got scratched and wouldn't play so I ordered another. This time, however, I was able to make a copy so the original won't get ruined. You must however, have a software program that will handle the copying, b/c Microsoft has built in a lock to keep it from being copied.

    Exactly what I hoped for

    I bought this after searching around for it for my son. He had been wanting this for a long time and was interested in the first version of it. When I found it and saw the incredible price, I jumped on it. I am very happy I did, because my son just loves it!

    Midtown Madness

    A simplistic game that my 6 year old daughter and I spend hours playing. The races to get tougher and challenging. Just and all around cool game. Could be improved in areas but I like the ease of operation. I recommend it.

    i dont have the copy yet but i will have it soon but i loved this game so much i missed it alot ive been looking for it for a long time i used to have it mine broke a long time ago
