I need to explain the rating. I gave THIS ITEM a low rating because the foreign copy of this software even though it has an english version does not work properly. I installed the software on a decent Dell gx260 with 1 gig of ram and 40 gigs free harddrive space. The game does fine for learning stages, but when you try playing head to head... Full on games with computer or person. The game locks up. It seems to be how this copy manages either the processor or the memory I can't tell which. It occurs during head to head because the application needs increase in regard to the size of game you are playing. I ended up buying Empire Earth II w/Art of Supremacy (USA Version) and installed it on the same computer and it works perfect. The game has good graphics and tons of new buildings and ... The game has good graphics and tons of new buildings and units to learn about. If you love Empire Earth (I) then you are in for a HUGE culture shock. They have changed EVERYTHING. Personally I love Empire Earth 1 since it's so simple. Interface: It's different. They have moved everything around and they assume you are going to remember all the fast keys. For example when you click on a villager instead of seeing menu for all buildings you now have an extra click required to select citizen vs military buildings. So if you don't learn the fast keys it will seriously slow you down over the course of the game. TECH ADVANCES, in EE 1 this was done more or less on a time line with key buildings or research being required. With Empire Earth II they have changed how this is processed. Now they have certain buildings that must be manned which will create "tech points". You can also earn tech points by creating spys and sending them to steal technology. They have put more effort into a trading system. You of course still need a market place, but now you can create trading units. On land they are trucks on sea there are ships. Of course these units will still get fired on by enemies. One neat thing they did is create territories for the entire map. You will be required to building a some buildings (which must be the one race to do so). This will trigger special bonuses for building and defending. Of course to take over a territory from someone else you must first destroy their building and then build your own. Over all I enjoy the game. However it requires a huge amount of learning. I would highly recommend learning the fast keys which though a pain in the butt will make playing it easier. I also recommend you don't buy this version, but go ahead and pay the extra to get the USA version.

Love the added depth!
I waited WAY too long to buy this expansion for Empire Earth II. I play EEII constantly and love it. I love the addition of new civilizations, as well as features such as Heroes, Armies, and Native Tribes. It really adds extra depth to an already engrossing gaming experience. And for the low, low price it goes for these days, you can't go wrong. If you love EEII, then buy the expansion NOW!

This Empire Earth was not as good as its predecessor =( There were too many resources, and WAY too many different buildings. The game’s biggest positive (variety), is its own downfall. Why I bought Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy
I decided to buy Empire Earth II: The Art of Supremacy mostly because I find the EE(Empire Earth) series a rather enjoyableon & partly because it is the expansion to EE II. However, because I had un-knowingly bought a foreign copy of the game, it didn't work on my computer, so I had to sell it.
