Great products
This version of Alka-Seltzer is excellent. Contains less sodium and acts faster. I've been using for over 10 years with great results. It's hard to get in retail pharmacies as it is not well known. The pharmacists are aware and can order it.

Instant heartburn relief! 5 solid stars.
This is the best instant heartburn relief I know of. The first sip knocks it out every time. I like to drink it on the rocks. And I usually have to belch after the first drink, so I wouldn't do it at the dinning table with other folks present. But it stops the burning in just 15 seconds or less. I don't use it too often because it cost too much, and I can get by with baking soda. Baking soda is not as fast, as pleasant, as convenient or as long lasting. It must be that the potassium in Alka Gold, somehow buffers the sharp flavor of the bicarb, and extends it's life. I do use 8 oz of water instead of the 4 oz the instructions call for. If the price were cut or I got rich, I'd always use this, It's great relief, but the sticker price causes symptom recurrence and flashback. I'm hoping a ... Works better for heartburn than regular alka-seltzer
Ideal for late-night heartburn relief after brushing your teeth, because it has no sugar in it like almost every other antacid on the market, even the regular blue alka-seltzer. Also, unlike regular, it takes better, leaves no powdery residue on the glass or in your mouth, and is more effective at relieving heartburn due to the presence of a third antacid.
