About this product

Product Information

The Navy SEALs are invading the PSP for a second covert campaign, one that will take handheld owners through 14 non-linear missions with dynamically changing objectives. Commanders guide a two-man team across multiple terrain types as they strive to build "command equity" and "local influence" through successful stealth and tactical operations. By rescuing civilians, completing goals, and uncovering bonus objectives, players will earn points to spend on weapons or military support in the form of supply drops and air strikes. Black market equipment and intelligence can also be acquired from the local populace, improving the SEAL team's chances for success.

An entry in the SOCOM series wouldn't be complete without multiplayer options, and Fireteam Bravo 2 includes wireless support for up to 16 players in both Ad-hoc and Infrastructure modes. Three new game types are introduced in this sequel, including a capture-the-flag variant, and users are now able to create custom tournaments, ladders, and even clan challenges. Fireteam Bravo 2 also offers an improved friends list and instant messaging to help simplify the process of finding worthy teammates and opponents. As in the first PSP title, Fireteam Bravo 2 lets owners of the PS2 version link the two games to unlock special features in both SOCOM titles.

One of the best games for PSP that I've played..!!

I'm not a big fan of socom FT1 game, and I was hesitant to buy the second one.. I finally found a new game at a great price that I could not pass up, and I'm glad I did..!! This game is getting very close to a PSVita game and uses nearly everything that you can get out of the PSP hand held gaming platform... I should have bought it a long time ago, but it is a nice surprise to a older platform... I highly recommend this game...!!!

  • socom for psp fireteam bravo

our family - two teenage boys and myself, have several copies of each edition of socom navy seals , II,III,combined assault , and with several sytems can play each other , or anyone else online, it is an excellent shooter game , we have been playing them for several years , the psp version is a nice addition to the series, the graphics are good, and if you just want to kick back in the recliner and do a litte battle , its not bad ! all of the socom games take a while to load , and the psp version is no exception , but the story line and maps make it worth the wait ! during the FALL season on GAMEBATTLES my one son won the doubles battle for a free PS3 SYSTEM sponsored by the US SEALS !!!!!!!! IT PAYS TO PRACTICE !! IF YOURE IN ARMY,NAVY,MARINE TYPE SHOOTER GAMES , YOU SHOULD ENJOY ...

  • Once again Socom doesn't fail to deliver

For those of you that never played the first fireteam bravo game on the psp just go right for the second one. Fireteam bravo 2 is the best one yet for the psp. Practically everything about it is awsome with limited flaws. Such as the enemy and ally AI is much improved over the first game and it requires more stealth to do the missions correctly, making it feel more Socom-like. It also includes new Local Influence and Command Equality rewards for certain things you do throughout the game. Being nice to civilians and accomplishing bonus missions lets you have access to better weapons that you can use in single player missions. The graphic quality is great just as the first one if not better. Oh and don't forget about the multiplayer that is just plain great. As for flaws, well I can't really ...

  • Great game

This is a great game. I love playing online, which is so much fun i couldnt put my psp down. The only bad thing is that there are a few glitches in the online game. There are glitches where you can crawl through walls, walk in thin air, and shoot granades out of your butt. Theres also "hackers" on the online gaming, which can send you viruses, boot you out of the game, and have special cheats that let you hav unlimited health, fully auto rpg, etc. I rated this game a 3/5 only because of these glitches and hacks. Otherwise, the game is a fun, challenging, and realistic game, except for the lack of blood and gore.

  • Great Improvement shroter load times better graphics

This is a big improvement over the first. The graphics are noticeable better as are the menus. Online it is the same the menus changed and have a much more streamline look. The levels are some of the same, but with more effects like real snow and sounds of movement and there are new levels. There are new modes of game play like Tug of war. The Campaign is as good as the first I'm two levels into it and do far its good. People will jump out at you and surprise you, you must be on your toes. It is rated T instead of M this time and the campaign missions are centered around identifying and destroying drugs. Get out and buy it today, definitely worth the buy.
