I searched high and low for a "same-kind" replacement for my old HP D1530 Printer, not only because it was such a good little thing....small, easy to use, great print quality and cheap. When the original one died (something plastic/rubber melted on the inside and the carriage would not move correctly) I was left with several boxes of ink so I was determined to find an exact match. It wasn't easy......old and out of stock everywhere...but I managed and I am soooo happy. Cost was only $20 with free shipping....YEAH

It took some time to get the paper to go through the printer as it should. It’s still a little fickle at times. The ink cartridge that came with the printer (color only) was already beat. Luckily I had bought black and color ink cartridges before I set it up.

I am waiting to get paid again so I can order a power source for it, I wish it had been told in the posting that it needed one. All it said the printer needed is ink, which I got, but found out the hard way I had no juice. The power source must match exactly for it to function. The one I have is a 30-volt output and the printer calls for 16. Incompatibility prevents communication to my computer until this is rectified, which I am certain will be the case soon. In the meantime, the printer is clean and arrived quickly.
