Product Information

The third installment in the classic series of 3D fighting games for the Playstation, Battle Arena Toshinden 3 adds new characters, new special moves, and new play modes to the formula. One or two players can go head to head in a series of one-on-one fights, using regular, special, and super moves to knock the competitor's energy bar down to zero. Characters possess a wide variety of weaponry, and players will be dueling with swords, scythes, spears, pistols, and stranger arms in addition to engaging in hand-to-hand combat.<br><br>Twenty-eight characters are playable in total, fourteen of which are available at the beginning. The other fourteen are unlocked when players win the game in single player mode by defeating a series of competitors with each of the original characters. Fights are fast and furious, with plenty of 3D effects and pyrotechnics going on, and combos and special moves aplenty are available. The ability to smash your opponent into the walls or ceiling of the arena in which you play adds to the fun as well.

    I love BAT! But the creators ruined this series

    Oh...i love BAT! I beleive their character designs and characters are beautiful. Unfortunately I have to rate this an average because for some reason the creators just gave up on this game. Like one reviewer said this game had a lot of faults. It should have been and looked like Tekken/Soul Calibur but the graphics were bad and the voices are bad. I am a huge fan of this game yes...but I wish someone would have taken the time to make this game better! AHHH! They should have stuck with the main characters instead of just throwing in random people...

    Toshinden Rocks

    This game is lots of fun. I was introduced to the Toshinden series back in &apos;95. Battle Arena Toshinden 2 is my favorite of the four, but 3 was definitely worth buying. There are several characters to choose from at the start and to unlock after beating the game with different fighters. Eiji, Tracy, Sofia, and Kayin are my favorite characters.

    Can't get any better!

    Pros- In this Battle Arena Toshinden I guess we can all agree on the huge improvement oh battle abilities and combos. Another improvement was the amount of avaliable characters. Cons- Still bad graphic? Come on...Its just another PS 1 game. ^_^
