Robert W. Cates

Robert W. Cates, 72, of Evansville, went to be with his mother on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Deaconess Hospice. He retired from Whirlpool after 42 years in 2009. He was an Army Veteran, serving for four years, and was in the National Guard for ten years. He was a member of River of Life Church. Robert is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Cates. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Kim Wells. Robert’s wishes were to be cremated and then entombed in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Ft. Knox, KY. Friends may visit Saturday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
