The drama project follows an attorney named Jackson (David Lyons), who is close to achieving success.

However, when childhood friends of his suddenly show up, a dark secret in Jackson's past threatens to undo all of his hard work.

Van der Boom is playing Jackson's intelligent fiancée Marina, who is also a partner of her law firm, reports Deadline.

The actress has appeared in Hawaii Five-0 and the Constantine TV series.

Bre Blair, Michael Raymond-James, Larenz Tate, Demetrius Grosse and Conor O'Farrell were previously cast in the pilot.

Written by David Hudgins, Game of Silence is based on Turkish series Suskunlar.

Hudgins is also executive producing, alongside Carol Mendelsohn (CSI), Julie Weitz, director Niels Arden Oplev, Timur Savci and Tariq Jalil.
