He also told TMZ that the addict in him told him to drink. He also said just drinking alcohol and not doing drugs seemed pretty innocent to him.
The reality figure also said that he had not had another drink since last week and does not plan on having one.
Doak was also adamant that he won't go back to rehab and instead attend AA meetings.
He told TMZ last year that he tried to kill himself with 90 blood pressure pills and drank a liter of Jägermeister at the same time, and after telling his ex about the attempt, she referred him to the rehab facility.
Bad influence: The couple was busted for possession of crack cocaine in 2019
In 2019 both Doak and Mama June were busted for possession of crack cocaine outside of a gas station.
According to TMZ, Doak was sentenced to 16 months of supervision under Mason County Community Corrections and was supposed to have two years of probation after his time served.
He wasn't put behind bars and instead was required to move from Florida to Alabama within 30 to 45 days of when he was sentenced in July, but he failed to do so.
In trouble: Doak failed to attend his community corrections program so there is still an active arrest warrant for him from 2021
Mama June pleaded not guilty and was sentenced to 100 hours of community service and agreed to several provisions to avoid prison, one of which was staying sober.
Doak had an active arrest warrant from 2021 after failing to attend his community corrections program.
The Mason County Sherriff told TMZ that he wouldn't pull Doak from the rehab program he was in.
His criminal case is still active, and Doak is continuing to work on a solution after his relapse.
Good faith: The sheriff in charge at Mason County Community Corrections told TMZ that he wasn't going to pull Doak out of his rehab program when he was still actively in it
