Newham rhymer AB has finally dropped off his debut mixtape, Welcome To Hammerville.

The new project kicks off a new chapter for the Potter Payper-approved rapper (he’s signed to Potter’s 36 label), having only just been released from prison last month. AB first introduced himself to us around 2017/2018 with some well-executed videos and a BL@CKBOX freestyle, but after a brief turbulent period and a few brushes with the law, AB is now firmly on the right track.

Although it’s a new era for the East Londoner, the drill-focused, 14-track set does continue a lot of the themes of his past singles, detailing the dark and unglamorous sides of street life. Joining him to help tell that story are Twin S, wewantwraiths, DA, Kay-O, Kilo Jugg, and Kojo Funds.
