Last year, JetBlue rolled out 12 Days of Deals—daily flight deals all over the Western Hemisphere, and we couldn't get enough of it. This year, the airline’s holiday surprise is the return of the ‘All You Can Jet’ pass, but we were so inspired by their last-minute holiday travel ideas, we decided to do our own 12 days of deals. Check back each day from now through December 22 to find some of the best cheap fares, hotel discounts, and more around the world.

Amsterdam is the kind of city that shows a different side every time you visit. The Van Gogh museum and canal boats will always be there, but there are tons of untapped destinations waiting to be seen. If you're craving a little bit of that Dutch lifestyle, you'll want to take advantage of this weekend's flight deal to the historically tolerant city.

Here's what we know, courtesy of The Points Guy: round-trip flights to Amsterdam on American, Delta, and United are less than $500 (most are around $473-$488). You can depart from Boston Logan, New York JFK, D.C. Reagan National, or Chicago O'Hare, though if you're flying out of D.C., you'll have to make a stop in Detroit, Philadelphia, or New York. The rest of the flights are nonstop. To get the best possible ticket price, you should be flexible with dates—the deal applies to flights in March and April 2018, but the exact weeks vary (we're having the best luck finding tickets below $500 during the first two weeks of March).

Though not exactly peak tulip season, early March is a great time to visit Amsterdam without all the crowds (the city is dealing with an overtourism problem, so this is quite the perk). Rent a bike and head to the Vondelpark, then get a little culture at the Rijskmuseum. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the Dutch capital, take a day trip to Haarlem, a 12-square-mile city nicknamed "little Amsterdam."

How to book: Go to the Google Flights calendar and put your departure airport as BOS, JFK, DCA, or ORD, and your arrival one as AMS. The fares highlighted in green are the cheapest ones (like we said, the best prices are in early March). The departing flights are all overnight, and if you're taking a D.C. flight with a layover, expect to wait no more than two hours. We don't think this deal will last more than a day, so book before the weekend is over.
