Alfear's Obituary
Dean Smalls II, 33, formerly of St. Helena Island and son of Alfear Dean Smalls, Sr. and Valerie Evelyn White entered into eternal rest in Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Alfear was the grandson of Julia W. Smalls of the Saxonville Community of St. Helena Island and the late Josephus "Jack M" Smalls.
Viewing is from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in Helen Galloway's Memorial Chapel of Chisholm Galloway Home for Funerals, 808 Bladen Street, Beaufort, SC 29902.
Funeral services 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Bethesda Christian Fellowship, 32-36 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, St. Helena Island, South Carolina 29920.

Burial will be in the St. Helena Memorial Garden, 142 Ernest Drive, St. Helena Island, SC 29920.
