We all love the beautiful game and couldn't be happier to be watching an international tournament after Covid. Euro 2021 has gotten off to an exciting start. However, it's been tainted for US fans watching coverage on ESPN by absolutely horrendous commentating. Leading the charge has been Alejandro Moreno and Steve Cangialosi. You don't need to search very hard to find numerous examples of how their commentary ruined the most exciting game of the tournament so far (The Netherlands vs Ukraine). Twitter is littered with complaints and it will only get worse.

ESPN has solid commentators in Ian Darke, Stewart Robson, and Jon Champion. There are so many commentators that wouldn't make our ears bleed like Moreno and Cangialosi do. ESPN should learn from NBC and CBS's coverage of soccer the past year and try to replicate the same. 

Oh, and Taylor Twellman isn't all that either but he's better than Ale and Steve at least...

ESPN please, for the love of all that is beautiful with soccer, get some better commentators and get rid of Alejandro Moreno and Steve Cangialosi.
