Kate Walsh Accidentally Revealed She’s Engaged to Andrew Nixon

Kate Walsh will soon be hearing wedding bells! During an Instagram Live session on October 5, 2022, the Grey’s Anatomy actress accidentally announced that she’s engaged to Andrew Nixon. 

Walsh let the cat out of the bag while she was chatting with her former Private Practice co-star, Amy Brenneman, on Instagram Live in honor of the medical drama’s 15-year anniversary. “Here comes the jungle cat that is my fiancé,” Walsh said as she turned the camera to Nixon.

Brenneman didn’t miss a beat. “She just 100 percent outed your engagement,” the Shining Girls star emphasized. Walsh embraced the blunder by responding, “I did, I just outed our engagement.”

Throughout the actresses’ conversation, Walsh had her diamond sparkler on full display. After the Instagram Live session, she even posted a photo of two martini glasses on her Instagram Story with the caption, “Celebrating w/@andynix1,” according to Entertainment Tonight.

For the most part, Walsh has kept her relationship with Nixon under wraps. The two have been linked since before the pandemic, and they reportedly met on a cruise, E! News reports. The couple currently lives together in Perth, Australia. We’re so happy for them!
