The Patriots practiced with roughly two thirds of their roster Thursday during their first OTA session open to the media.

All four quarterbacks were present, though most running backs and several veterans were missing, including Stephon Gilmore, Devin McCourty, Matthew Judon, Dont’a Hightower and Kyle Van Noy.

Running back Damien Harris, linebackers Anfernee Jennings and Cameron McGrone, tight end Dalton Keene and rookie safety Joshuah Bledsoe were present, but did not participate. Harris and Keene arrived late. Bledsoe’s arm was in a sling.

The full list of absentees: kicker Nick Folk, linebacker Matthew Judon, safety Adrian Phillips, cornerback Stephon Gilmore, running back Brandon Bolden, running back Sony Michel, cornerback J.C. Jackson, running back James White, safety Devin McCourty, linebacker Brandon King, cornerback Myles Bryant, linebacker Harvey Langi, defensive end Chase Winovich, linebacker LaRoy Reynolds, defensive lineman Christian Barmore, linebacker Kyle Van Noy, running back Rhamondre Stevenson, linebacker Dont’a Hightower, linebacker Terez Hall, wide receiver Tre Nixon, offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn, offensive tackle Trent Brown, tight end Jonnu Smith and defensive linemen Lawrence Guy and Byron Cowart.
