Jake Gyllenhaal’s gonna have a Blue Christmas without his longtime sweetie, Reese Witherspoon . The couple called it quits in early December, and Jake’s been moping about ever since. “It broke his heart,” an insider told Us Weekly mag. A source close to Gyllenhaal, 29, said the couple “fought constantly in the past few months.” Apparently, the relationship concluded over a series of phone calls, but there was no drama. “No one cheated,” another source told the mag. The pair first met on the set of the film “Rendition,” and they began dating in March 2007. Sources are also saying that the fallout from Reese’s divorce from Ryan Philippe was a contributing factor in the split. “She felt pressured to wed again, but she wasn’t ready,” an insider says. “She couldn’t give Jake enough, and she got cold feet. Jake wanted all of her.”
