Daniel Rabinovich, an original member of the long lived Argentine comedy-musical group Les Luthiers, has died. He was 71.
Rabinovich passed away following years of struggling with cardiac disease, which forced his exit from the entertainment industry in 2012 after suffering from early heart attack symptoms while the group toured Uruguay.
He had been a member of Les Luthiers since its founding in 1967 and was one of the group’s most popular members, playing a variety of instruments outside of singing, including guitar, violin, bass-pipe, sousaphone, recorder and percussion.
Rabinovich, or “Neneco” as his close friends called him, is survived by his life partner Susi and two children.
