Ray J And Princess Love Relationship Timeline
Princess Love has announced that she and Ray J are going their separate ways, again.
For the fourth time, the couple is choosing to divorce. In a statement shared on Instagram, Princess revealed that she and the "Sexy Can I" singer are splitting up.
"Dear Friends and Family, it is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our decision to divorce," the statement read.
"While our relationship as spouses may be coming to an end, we remain committed to co-parenting our children and maintaining a positive and supportive family dynamic," the statement continued in part while referencing their kids Melody, 5, and Epik, 4.
Here's a look back at Ray J and Princess's ups and downs along their love journey.
Locked in Love
“I just want her to have the time of her life and remember it as the best day in the world,” Ray J told the outlet before their nuptials. “Even when I wasn’t with her, I told my friends ‘She the one, she the one.’ It was just something about how I felt when she was around me.”
“He’s the only person I’ve ever been with that I couldn’t see myself without,” said Princess.
Here Comes Baby
The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Melody in 2019.
Four Times The Fun
Then their family expanded by one more in 2020 with the arrival of their son, Epik.
Two in One
There was also trouble in paradise for the couple in 2020. In May, Princess filed for divorce from Ray J.
Two months later, she dismissed the petition. But in September, he filed for divorce from her.
Love Wins
After Ray J filed to divorce Princess, both decided to squash the request in February 2021.
Another Round
Then in October 2021, the R&B singer filed to divorce Princess, again.

In March 2023, Ray J called off his divorce from Princess. That same year while speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the BET Awards, Ray J noted the ups and downs in their relationships.
“I mean love is hard. It’s never easy but it always works out. And that’s what it’s supposed to be, right?” he said. “Becoming best friends and doing things that she loves to do that I love to do and just hanging in there. For me, it’s just compromising more and listening and trying to understand how we can make it right, and what I can do to be better too.”
Back On The Table
On Monday (Feb. 25), Princess announced she and Ray J had decided to file for divorce, for a fourth time.
"Though this chapter of our lives may be closing, we look forward to embracing the opportunities for growth, healing, and new beginnings that lie ahead," the statement in a post on Instagram. "We are confident that with time, understanding, and the support of our loved one, we will navigate this transition with grace and resilience."
