Crata Light is a product that I designed at university with the aim of up-cycling plastic bottles into lamps. I saw this design as a way of reducing the need for large lighting products while also helping to cut down plastic waste.

I used SOLIDWORKS 3D modelling software to design the product and produced promotional material using Adobe software.

The poster was designed to showcase the attractive design and grab the attention of people who have an interest in recycling and helping the planet. It also provides a simple and clear explanation of the product and how it is used.

I wanted a logo that would appeal to the main target demographic, young to middle-aged environmentally conscious home owners. I went for a modern and bold idea and design that can be easily recognised.
