Narrative
The Iron Age iron production was performed with a lot of rituals and was a large part of the cult. The furnace was thought of as a pregnant woman, and the iron makers performed several fertility rituals during the making process. The village name “Alborga” means “holy fortress”.
Attraction
Ancient cult place in an old rural landscape. The cultural environment is of national interest.
