Resident Evil 3 Nemesis is a survival horror classic that I have on pc version compared to the gamecube and PlayStation 1 versions it can be viewed in 1080p for pc, I liked the features of the game , like the zombies, nemesis tyrant, the setting of the game , and character jill valentine from Resident Evil 1 , it takes place 3 months after the events from the mansion incident, jill discovers horror in raccoon city when she encounters a new tyrant called Nemesis, finds Carlos and his team in a desperate situation, and so on fans thinks that this is the best resident evil of all time, I would say that this is my thrid favorite, compared to Resident Evil 2, Resident evil 1 remake,if you are looking to not buy a classic console and still play a classic resident evil game then this what you should buy
Bought this when I had windows 98 and it worked fine. Put Windows xp on my computer a few days later and all it will do is play the opening cinemas, then lock up. Can not find any patches or drivers. Thanks Xp for not letting me play my game.
It's another chance to wander round shooting zombies, but anyone who has played either of the previous installments will see this as a dull rehash with absolutely nothing new to offer. Effectively little more than an add-on pack of extra environments for RE2. If only they'd combined those two games, they might just have made something half decent. Capcom should realise that these games aren't getting any better, and at the same time they're obviously getting more predictable and unoriginal. The time has come to stop making them. Still, we're talking about the company who were still making Street-Fighter games post 1993, so what can we expect...
The port is great! The game runs amazingly and everything is smooth. My only problem is that after beating the game on hard mode mercenaries mode should have unlocked but this port doesnt seem to have it at all. Also after beating the game it didnt ask me to save my progress which was weird. 5 stars if mercenaries mode was on it. Also a little too pricey especially if it doesnt have all the content the original game contains.
I ran this game in XP, with compatibility for '98 activated and the in-game option for texture correction unchecked. Once I followed these couple of simple steps, the game looked great. You can actually see what some of the pictures are that adorn the walls of this terror-beseiged city. One interesting thing about the PC version is that all costumes are unlocked from the beginning. That way you can go straight to Jill's Special 7 costume without being a Resident Evil master. The other thing I noticed about the PC version is that enemies appear in places they didn't in the Playstation version. I also got a new scenario with Tyrell and Nicolai that I've never seen before. Overall, the game looks great and plays fine. The primary benefits over the Playstation version are the improved graphics and the fact that all costumes are available from the beginning. However, the graphical improvements do not apply to the item menu. That still looks fuzzy, like it was ported directly from the PSX. And just remember, if you see weird lines across the background graphics, toggle Texture Correction on or off. That fixed the problem for me.
It doesnt seem to work on XP but works fine on ME and below. I just Think it's too slow to change views and not a hard core FPS game. But good to waste time while not doing something important.
