Hop Q*bert up and down the steps of a "three-dimensional" pyramid, changing each step's color as he lands. Complete the entire pyramid, and Q*bert moves to a more challenging pyramid. But look out! The crafty arcade creatures are here, too, and they're after Q*bert. Hop out of danger fast - or soar to safety on a flying disc. But watch where you move Q*bert. One hop off the pyramid and he'll be lost in space!

I got this for my wife last week after getting Frostbite for her and it was just another trip down memory lane. I was just as bad at it as I was in the 80s but she was awesome. The day's stress just melted away as she returned to her childhood.
i remember getting q bert for christmas with frogger one year...it brings back fond memories... Q bert that famous orange blob with the swearing problem was an instant hit..and the atari 2600 port of this game captures the spirit of the arcade game. the gameplay is fast, simple and challenging as well and most of all FUN.
ok,lets face it most of the 2600 games graphically or playability are hit or miss and can be considered a dinosaur compared with todays gaming technology ..but q bert is STILL a great game..although there have been many better looking ports over the years on various systems the 2600 version still holds up well..if your a retro gamer..its a no brainer...
it also works well with the atari 7800...when playing q bert..id advise using gaming pads instead of those hand aching 7800 sticks...a genesis or master system control pad works fine.
Love this game so much.It was the most played game behind pacman for me then ofcourse came space invaders.I'm glad I could get this back in my collection. This is my childhood and I will make sure my children will get to appreciate what I have.
The seller lists this as for the Atari 2600 but it is not for the 2600, it is too large for the system, it's the size of a Nintendo cartridge. Hopefully I can get a replacement before Christmas. It would be helpful if seller would have an accurate description of their products.
I thought this was for the old atari system 2600. When I got this game it did not fit in the system. Very disappointed. I used to love this game when I was a kid.
