The lid is less that ideal. When it feels tight, it will leak. You have to tighten it supper hard not to have leaks when tipped. Also, I was expecting a solid lid, but it has a hole in the middle for putting a straw through (?) and the cover for that hole is an entirely separate little piece that seems very easy to lose.
