I bought this coloring book based on reviews (along with the Mother Goose Club Nursery Rhymes book, as my daughter is a huge fan) and was really excited to receive it - we LOVE the nursery rhymes book, she can sing all day and loves looking at the pictures of her “friends from the tv.”
However, I am disappointed in the quality and content of the book: I know every single MGC song by heart: original songs, cartoon versions and Mother Goose Club playhouse; most of the nursery rhymes in this book are not in the videos (and I never heard of some of them...) The drawings are very simple, the book overall seems a lot flimsier than the pictures and the paper is thin enough that you can see through. It’s a question of preference (some people would probably know the songs I don’t know, or older kids may be interested in learning new ones) but we will not be using this book.
Two stars for the effort.
