Kids love to construct and the Techno Gears Crazy Train is the perfect way to encourage them to build. With its 60+ colorful construction pieces, power motor and more, this kit includes everything your little conductor needs to build his/her own train that has crankshafts that move and work. The mechanics of the train include gears and introduce the science of gear ratio. This product aligns with and supports STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math standards). Requires two “AA” batteries (not included). Ages 6-12 years.

Hard to assemble
My 6yr-old loves WALL-E and that's why I purchased it. She was excited to put it together on her own for days without success until I discovered an error in the instructions and helped her correct it. The gears are also extremely tight once attached to cogs and bases, making them very hard to move around and be creative. One snapped pin and few creased after some press and pull. So we decided to leave it as is and not to built something else.Despite all the negatives in assembling, once it starts moving, my daughter just can't take the smile off her face.
