game play is slow and much more like the real game you have to be more of a tactician when playing the computer, you can not just blaze past a defender, cut in and score as the defence is more intelligent. its good to have a challenge. FUT is great and the career mode is great with it new training feature.

It's FIFA...with updated squads, kits and a new feature (FUT Draft). FUT Draft is a great idea and fun to do, but 15,000 coins to enter is very expensive.

As I pre-ordered the game, I got Messi on loan for 5 games, and a Legends Loan pack which I ended up with Giggs on loan for 3 games, and a free token to FUT Draft. However, with EA Servers being so poor it kept kicking either me or my opponent out, so I only got less than half a game for all Messi & Giggs loan matches, and only played about 10 minutes of FUT Draft before it kicked me out - then when I reconnected it said I left the game early, and I lost my token. When I went online EA said someone would phone me back - the next day someone called and it rang once then they hung up, then emailed me saying they couldn't get hold of me. So I ended up doing an online chat for about an hour, someone said they would email me some instructions on how to troubleshoot the game and reclaim my lost content...and got nothing from them.

Also, in single player mode there is no middle ground between difficulty. It's either way too easy, or way too hard! I have to change the difficulty before each match, dependent on who I'm playing, to make it a challenge. So, if I'm playing a good team I put it on and easier setting, and a poorer team I put it on a harder setting. The AI should be intelligent enough in this day and age to adapt to each individual user and not require difficulty setting, and rather play in a way which challenges your style of play.

Finally, FUT Packs are a joke. How does anyone ever end up with good players out of those packs? I have bought the Deluxe edition every year where you get one or two free packs every week - best player I've ever got was Arda Turan. In 4 years!! The deluxe edition is only good for collecting lots of contracts and fitness cards etc. You never get a good player. I wonder if you end up getting better players out of the packs if you buy coins rather than a free pack - but that would be a real p*sstake and I refuse to spend even more money on the game!

Overall, the game itself is good, but a few things need rethinking by EA. I know they are trying to make money, but surely millions of people spending £40 each on the game is enough without them trying to rip you off for more money in add ons.

This is the first Fifa in ages where you actually need to play good football and you finally get results for good play. There is more of a battle in midfield , and best of all, pace isn't overpowered like many over fifas . most of the people moaning and calling the game bad are probably just mad that you can't put someone like Walcott upfront and long ball it to them all the time hahaha
