In Eighteen Wheeler: American Pro Trucker, you'll choose between four 18-wheel trucks, and then ride against rival truckers and the clock as you try to deliver your payload intact and on time. The game offers 20 stages from New York to San Francisco, as well as four play modes: Arcade, Parking Challenge, Score Attack, and Versus. Eighteen Wheeler is compatible with separately sold steering-wheel controllers.

This is a port of the Sega arcade game 'Eighteen Wheeler American Pro-Trucker' for the Nintendo Gamecube. The GC version has four different modes including 'Arcade', 'Parking', 'Score Attack', and 'Versus'. For each mode you will get to pick between four trucks(Asphalt Cowboy/Highway Cat/Long Horn/Streamline) each with its own strengths and disadvantages.

For the arcade mode you need to drive from New York to San Francisco and the game is divided into four stages(NEW YORK-KEY WEST/ST. PETERSBURG-DALLAS/DALLAS-LAS VEGAS/LAS VEGAS-SAN FRANCISCO). With parking mode there are four stages to pick from and in each stage you need to park your truck in five different areas. In score attack you need to make three laps in the allotted time(you earn extra $$$ by hitting certain vehicles) and can pick from four tracks.

And finally there is a two-player versus mode where you race against another player to see who can finish three laps in the faster time. I've played this game in the arcades and the GC version is nearly identical(graphics aren't as sharp). The game-play is fast and fun but very short. Recommended if you can find a copy for five bucks or so(or if you enjoyed the arcade version).

I found this game, full package, for $2. I bought it knowing the reviews for it. I love the Big Mutha Trucker series and I like the simulation of driving a semi. I used the Gameshark for the game on Gamecube to this game. I did really like it and then bam, you win. Only four levels on this game. They should of developed ten levels. It is fun playing though.

Ok this game is the same game that is at the arcade. Therefore, you can beat this game like in 20 min max. Well the arcade part of it, it also has a parking option witch [is bad] because its like impossible to do well at least level 4 is. But dont get me wrong the graphics in this game a great, but one of the most important factors is missing the fun factor.
