Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This was one of the first games I bought for the 7800 way back in the 80's. At the time, I thought it was amazing and would have given it five stars. But time has tempered my enthusiasm. I still think it's a pretty good game. For the 7800 the graphics and sound are pretty good. The Zaxxon-like overhead view looks good but judging your altitude vs your enemies can be difficult. It's got a cool system of collecting three hieroglyphics to get a power up based on the combination. The sphinx bosses look great. And it throws a lot of enemies on the screen at once. It's a rather ambitious game for the 7800, maybe too ambitious. A few levels in and the CPU just can't keep up with the fast scrolling or the number of enemies on the screen. Frame rate often drops to horrid levels and it can degenerate into a confusing mess. I still enjoy it, but I can't totally overlook its short comings.
