Firstly I bought this game as a drawing ref tool, and I am quite satisfied with it. Particularly because there is a mode where you act as the photographer and you can take shots of the females and save them. Some of the mini games are actually pretty fun. You can change their swimsuits by earning points to buy them in game. I am really having a blast as a photographer. It makes me feel like a sports illustrated swimsuit model photographer.

I personally love DOA for its unique 3 models of women.. they are half anime and half human.. however this just a little of game in my opinion.. its more visuals then it is actual gameplay.. to me its more of pleasant art of women.. Women are beautiful even in games haha its beautiful art.. just really want to make my own 3d models of women.. I play this mainly to get inspired in the world of Maya (3D) and so forth.. I love to draw as well but drawing video game characters isnt as fun as making your own.. I wouldnt really recommend game too much.. it has a lot of sexual content.. just no nude but its enough to scare people who dont want to playing a weird game especially with people around..
do wish the physics on the women's breast would actually move more realitically.. really bugs me that its so weird.. maks any of the character models look disgusting.. wish they would give the girls more than just bikini outfits.. jeans and shirts would have been nice.. and as well a goal to give players a reason to play other than look at the nice and detailed characters.. which gets boring due to lack of customization.. more mini games would have been great.. and even more story would have made the game more appealing.. I love this game but its more for people who really love playing games for the pleasant view of female characters or just simply you are a DOA fan.. Though I wouldn't say buying this game makes you a pervert.. I do believe to certain degree it requires someone to have an open mind and have fun and admire the DOA females characters.. I dont think this is even a game for some to be played for (other) pleasures.. if you do then I think my friend you are quite the weird one...

While one of the most obvious activities in this game is the playing of "Beach Volleyball", it seems to be more of a collector's challenge, at least if you are trying to get all of the swimsuits on all of the girls. There are interpersonal relations ranging openly friendly to openly hostile. I have seen some reviews blasting this game because, "Those body parts DON'T MOVE LIKE THAT!". Well, if the ESRB rating is followed that shouldn't be a problem. It is after all, a game, (although I can see where some female players might be prone to "sympathy pains").

I bought this game thinking it would be the next install in the guilty pleasure series Dead or Alive Xtreme. How disappointed I was when after booting it up, I found it out it was esstenially Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 that was previously released on the Xbox 360. Since I already have played that game, there was no reason to play this version. It was a nice gesture on the part of the developers to port that game to another system, but if you own or already played Xtreme 2, it's not a worth while purchase.

I've never played any of the other DOA Beach Vollyball games, but this one seemed ok at first.

Reading other reviews about this game share a general consensus that the never stopping 'bouncing breasts' are somewhat of an issue. Constantly moving breasts even while the character is not moving is highly distracting and sometimes awkward. Especially if someone sees you playing this game.

Other than that the mini games are fun and the beach vollyball game was the focal point for this series of games. Like I said, I've never played any of the other DOA Beach Vollyball games and I was unaware of vollyball's importance because of other factors of the game. An example of this is taking pictures of the girls in various swimsuits to add to your photo collection. The more often you secretly take pictures like a creepy stalker, the more bonuses become available. I found that somewhat disturbing and the photos you take don't even come out that well.

Another feature is that you can play music stored in your PSP in the game as a radio station, but I never used it much because some kinds of music like Metal and Rock sort of throw off the mood when watching what the girls are doing. But thats just my opinion.

I haven't completed the game yet, I got around to 3 of the girls but essentially the gameplay is pretty much the same for each one. Again, thats just my opinion.

Basically a downgraded version of Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2 - with a new character. Fun at first - but boring later. Due to the constant load times as well because it's on a handheld... not too great. It's amazing how they were able to port the 360 version on the PSP - but if you didn't like it before - you probably won't like it now. Rent.

I cannot wait to play this game once I buy a Sony PSP video game console. I hope that it is similar to the first Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Vollyeball game for only Xbox console (not Xbox 360). I kind of miss playing that game because I cannot play it on my Xbox 360 console. But, I would love to see Tina, Helena, and other women wearing sexy bikinis and so when I go somewhere or even outside in my yard.
