I have plaster walls because my house is super old so no tacks or nails I have to drill and I don't want to! These are amazing for handing my records and dendro projects, I didn't put anything to heavy and I could have gotten smaller ones but they work great! You can also move them if you don't like the spit and they still stick. It did hold the fan in the video though!

I’ve been using Command strips for years. They are my go to for hanging pictures, message boards, decorations etc. This time I bought the X-LARGE 20 lb strips to hand solar roll up blinds on my mudroom doors. They stuck amazingly to the metal on the back of the head rail. I’m all about overkill, so I placed six of them side by side across the width of the head rail. Using a level I placed the rail over the window on the doors, pressed all along for good contact and voila, it’s been over a month and the blinds are tight and secure. I wasn’t about to put screw holes in my new steel doors, so this was the best solution. Worked like a charm! Never have I ever had a Command strip failure. Use an appropriate number of them and they’re gold!

Followed steps for applying as mentioned in the given manual and a video on YouTube by Command. To our dissatisfaction, the strip does not work, at all. We tried it on different items, small and big, light- and heavyweight. Maybe others got lucky, but we used up all our strips and did not succeed to hang anything. Waste of money, would not recommend.
