Build your own death defying tracks, or trade them on-line with friends. No matter how you play, hold on, because Coaster Works will be the most intense ride of your life.

Ride your own tracks

No other roller coaster simulation lets you actually ride the tracks you have created. Coaster Works lets you climb into the hot seat for all the razor-sharp turns, daredevil drops, and stomach-churning loops you can dish out. You can playback the action from multiple viewpoints as well, giving your coaster a whole new life.

The Killer G's are back!

Advancing to the next level isn't as simple as building a cool track. Your creations are tested under conditions like top speed, safety level, and of course, how many G's they can pull! Not enough force? How about slipping in some serious drops followed by a killer corkscrew. Watch out for your safety level though, because too much force and you'll derail your coaster!

This is not a complaint against the seller or the product itself... it showed up on time, in original packaging, and in brand new condition. That said, my Dreamcast was able to scan and read the disc, but the game would not start and I repeatedly got a "please insert game disc" error (despite the disc being in and spinning). So if you're going to buy this (Idk who would in 2023, but I can't be the only one) be warned that it may cause issues.

I do not like simulators. Let's just get that out of the way. So, of course, I did not like this game that much but I can at least acknowledge that it is a fantastic simulator game. Very detailed, very accurate physics, and very fun to watch the actual test runs.

As others have stated, the screams on the test runs are what makes the tedious (fun for some) building worth the effort.

I was thinking maybe this would kind of rival the computer simulation coaster game. Roller Coaster Tycoon, but no it does not. I figured well it still builds coasters so this could be interesting. It is a little confusing at first but you get the hang of it fast but it just isnt worth the money. This is one of those games where you should just rent and play becuase it aint worth it to own. I love Sega and all their systems, I own them all and I love them all, but this game isnt worth the money. Sorry Sega!
