This is based on that. I really enjoyed the movie!
No, no one is being attacked for any personal, cultural or other reason at all in the story, just as no one ever was in an original Christie. It's just great, engaging entertainment...like all of the original Agatha Christie works.
5 legitimate stars! I saw watch it!
All I can say is the acting is superb - British actors are always superb. The reason for the one star, however, is because, like so many British TV shows I watch these day, I can tell from the beginning that any character who is Christian is ALWAYS the villain. If they're wearing a necklace with a crucifix, or are practising Christians, or a priest, its shorthand for signaling they will be the murderer. I have NEVER EVER seen it otherwise. The icing on the cake for the 'woke' writer of this film is that the person murdered is a lesbian. Since in today's secular world, all Christians are the bad guys & all LBTQ people are saints.

mangelt an Fantasie.
