For the lovers of Christie's novels this is a wonderful game. Good a beautiful graphics, very entertaining, and not too difficult. It was a pleasure to play it.

I found this game to be a lot of fun. The play was smooth and the controls were easy. It was very addictive to follow the characters and see who gets "bumped" next.
As with most pc mystery games, you will need a walkthrough cheat as some parts are impossible to figure out. Also, following the paths around the island takes much time to understand. (A "quick jump" option would have been nice as going from one end of the island to one of the bedrooms in the house is time consuming.)
I highly recommend this game to the mystery/adventure lover, also the game takes several hours to complete so you get your money's worth.

This game had some potential and started off fun but i knew there were going to be problems when I picked up a LADDER and put it in my inventory bag. I mean, c'mon, how unrealistic is that. I saw a large Bucket of apples and the "hand" curser was activated over it so I figured I can grab an apple. Nope, I took the whole entire bucket and put it in my little bag. So as the game progressed I got stuck because I couldn't find the BATTERIES, like the other poor reviewer. Then I couldn't progress because I didn't know which one of the 50 inventory items i had to combine in order to make something happen.
Completely illogical combinations were required to move forward, and worst of all you can combine up to 4 items to make a new item. For example (small spoiler): you must find the juice press, and insert a cheesecloth, then a bucket of apples, then a boat propeller, put a glass in front of the press, and get "apple cider". Once you have the cider, you need to walk far away on a trail and pour the cider on some bushes so the goats will eat the bushes which reveal path. The nail in the coffin for me was when I had to acquire an antidote for poison, and it turns out that the antidote was far away on a trail at the edge of the island, and it was only like 3 tiny white pixels on the side some random trail. I would have never seen it nor waved my curser over it for two reasons: 1 because i had already covered that area previously, and 2 because it was so small.
Also some hot spots did not reveal themself when you waved your curser over it, how in the world would you even know that you could interact with it withough walking around and trying every inventory item on every pixel of the screen? After a period of time I literally had to follow the walkthrough line by line. That my friends, is when any chance of "fun" was out of the question.
Finally the game crashed and I hadn't saved it for a while, so there was no way i was going to go back and do all that nonsense all over again.
Conclusion: If you love to pick up unrealistic inventory items and combine them in unimaginable ways, then you'll love this game. I actually appreciate this game because it taught me exactly what kind of games to stay away from. I'll be sticking to first-person "deserted island" games, where I won't have to worry about inventory combinations or activating new hot spots by exhausting and repeating dialogue with other characters.

I actually had to play this game twice, as it scared me so much the first time, I couldn't finish it. I thought this game was very fun. I had gotten tired of the Nancy Drew titles I'd been playing, and wanted something a little more adult. I'm 26, and I thought this was a great game. The idea of 10 strangers on an island, and each one getting picked off one by one through a nursery rhyme really appealed to me. I thought the graphics were good, although the character animations were terrible, and the story kept my attention the whole way through. The fog on the island, thunder, and constant rain really added to the atmosphere. If you're looking for a good adventure game, this will fit the bill, and it will keep you up past your bed time. (It's two A.M. here now, and I just finished the game! lol) This is definitely a good game to play over the weekend. I will be looking forward to playing "Murder on the Orient Express" next. Excellent game.

I assumed that it was like the other 2 programs that I installed and really liked but to my surprize I was unable to install it. It had the same requirements as the other two but just didn't open. So that'll all and to add misery I ordered another one. It was not a good day
