¿Qué es Gua Sha?
La terapia de Gua sha se basa en la teoría de los meridianos de la medicina tradicional china, y se realizan diferentes grados de estimulación física en la dirección a pie de los meridianos, de modo que la piel local se enrojece y la hiperemia, y la piel se puede abrir (se abren los poros de la piel), y el qi y la sangre se pueden estimular para lograr el efecto de curar enfermedades.
Los practicantes creen que el gua sha libera materia corporal poco saludable de la estasis sanguínea dentro de áreas musculares doloridas, cansadas, rígidas o lesionadas para estimular el nuevo flujo sanguíneo oxigenado a las áreas, promoviendo así la reparación, regeneración, curación y recuperación de las células metabólicas. Gua sha a veces se conoce como "raspado", "cucharada" o "acuñación" por los hablantes de inglés.

This reduces the pressure needed for administration as well as abrasions and stops. With careful application this is like an enjoyable massage. As with several types of skin therapy this can leaves skin looking red and blotchy which is a temporary effect.

There are instructions that come with this massager, along with a brief history and a list of purported benefits. YouTube always has a wealth of tutorials to reference. In addition to the gua sha massager, there’s a nice faux leather case for storage. Let’s just say I’m very impressed with everything about this massager. A high-quality gua sha massager at a very reasonable price.

I’ve never seen a stainless gua sha massager, but instead usually seen the jade or quartz versions. This is most certainly going to be an even more durable massage tool than even the stone ones. It’s not going to break if it’s dropped. This tool does glide across the skin quite easily, a perfect sculpting tool. This is a fabulous version of the well-known massager. While the large size is good for big areas I'm not sure if it's great for self use. I think a smaller tool might be easier to manipulate. I think that this tool would be wonderful to use on another person/have someone use on you but I've been finding it slightly difficult to use on myself (maybe with more practice?). For me the main negative on this item would be the cost. For a beginner like me this might be too much and possibly difficult to use. I do like that they included a small information packet (even more would be great). Plus the case is great to have. The tool is super easy to wipe clean and pack away in the storage case. I think it will last for a long time though I do have some concerns if the smooth surface is a coating. There's some little spots on the edges where I can almost feel some roughness (possibly underneath?). Time will tell more...
Heavy & possibly a bit difficult to use on oneself. Like the shape.

I'm new to Gua-sha (my very novice take on this). This tool is heavier than I expected. Initially I thought that was a negative but I've really been able to use a very light pressure because of the weight it has on its own. It's very smooth, the shape is easy to hold and curves so you can flip and switch depending on where you're working. You can cover large areas because it's so big. It has a smooth finish and slides pretty well. It has some points you can use for acupressure. I'm trying to follow youtube tutorials on that aspect.
