STORRS, Conn. - Junior Susan Aneno of the UConn women's track and field team was named this weeks' American Women's Track Performer of the Week, as announced by the league on Wednesday.

Aneno ran the third-fastest 800 meters in the nation at 2:04.79, which ranks No. 1 in The American this ear, as the Florida Relays. Her time was the third-fastest of all collegiate runners in the race, which featured 54 opponents, and is the fourth-fastest time in program history.

Aneno also ran the lead leg in the 4x800-meter relay to help the Huskies to a bronze medal in the meet at 8:45.52. Both her times qualified her for the ECAC Championship.
