Aguachile is literally shrimps cooked in lime and chile.
This recipe starts with 2lbs. of raw clean and deveined shrimp. You butterfly the shrimp or leave whole. We left it whole. Its just easier for us.
In a blender add about 2 cups of lime juice,10 serranos peppers, 1 tbs of garlic salt and 1 tbs of black pepper. Blend very well.
Optional is 4 garlic cloves and 1/4 bunch of cilantro.
Slice one whole red onion, slice in half one large cucumber and remove seeds. Then slice cucumbers. Add that to your shrimps and the liquid from the blender.
Cover and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes or so. Lime juice will cook the shrimps.Make sure shrimps are covered in lime juice. Maybe mix every 10 minutes to ensure even cooking.
This was the end result
You can add or adjust the ingredients to your families liking. Remember this is just a guide. Eat with a tostada.

10 serranos, carramba! I’m gonna try this on the weekend, might use a few less serranos so the kids can eat though! Great pics guys!
