The Acubo is a unique take on closed-loop anti-sway; why not track the
movement of the wire rope to calculate sway, instead of looking at the hook?
With its use of a wire rope-mounted inertial sensor combining an accelerometer
and gyroscope, Acubo is capable of accurately calculating and countering sway
without the use of cameras or encoders. The inertial sensor is mountable on
cranes with endpoints and equalizer sheaves alike.
Acubo works with any drive family thanks to its available analog, Profinet, and
Ethernet/IP communication protocols. The built-in PLC makes communication a
cinch.
