Director Robert Rodriguez has crafted some of the finest action films in the past 30 years, from the El Mariachi trilogy to Sin City, even becoming part of The Mandalorian team! His new film Hypnotic, hitting theaters this Friday, features a terrific ensemble of fantastic character actors, from Ben Affleck to William Fichtner, but none more charming than the incredible Alice Braga.

We were lucky enough to sit down with Braga to discuss the movie and her character, Diana Cruz, in this mind-bending thrill ride!

Braga has been a fan favorite of ours for many years, from her amazing performances in the Rodriguez produced Predators, her star-making role in I Am Legend, her commanding lead performance in Queen of the South, and the tough-as-nails Sol Soria in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. So getting to talk to her about Hypnotic‘s Diana Cruz, another powerful character to add to a filmography full of brilliant female leads, was an absolute treat for us!
