PSX's Dragon Ball GT: Gogeta/Gotenks Urban Legend
I really love Dragon Ball anime and its games, but I don't think I love it as much as my cousin who likes even the Playstation 1 game: Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout. A week ago he asked me to copy it for him to play on the emulator, and while I played it again myself for some nostalgia.
The game is a usual (if dated) Dragon Ball fighting game. It has characters from both Dragon Ball Z and GT, though it doesn't have a story mode and the only GT characters are Kid Goku, Pan, Trunks & the (unplayable) final boss. Making it essentially a Dragon Ball Z game.

Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout is a very average, maybe even a bad game. There are many characters but they're very few if you didn't count those who have the same move set (there are 6 Goku in this game.) The 3D models didn't age well but I still like them. The fighting system isn't really that good and CPU controlled opponents might be a bit overpowered (it's hard to do some moves the CPU does easily.)

But the urban legend I mentioned in the title is a rumor that about Gogeta & Gotenks! Two characters that are rumored to be in this game. According to the legend, they have a very hard way to obtain, like, fight 20 times in arcade mode (Hard) without continuing and without losing. I don't know if they're in the game but I don't want to spend my time trying this.

The true secret character however is Super Saiyan 4 Goku. He can unlocked by a secret code in the title screen. (You can also get him on Hard Mode if you didn't lose before him.) He's twice as powerful as any other Goku and takes half the damage.
Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout while isn't a good fighting game, it has its a unique charm for Dragon Ball fans. Being the only 3D game of that era. While I can't think of many Dragon Ball games worse than it. I still enjoyed it for a while and my cousin loves it for some reason.

Like forgetting this great Dragon Ball game, maybe it aged a bit badly with the passing of the years, but it's still a game from my childhood that I keep quite fond of.

Its pretty much one of my favorite DB games. I think it was pretty awesome for the time. The music really takes me back..

When I first saw the models of this game, I knew It'd be as clunky as it looks, lol. But I also think it looks kindof cute.
I do find quite interesting of what you managed to write about this post. Researching urban legends is bound to spice anyone's attention even if the game isn't great! Keep it up my dude!
