Al-Manar TV is a television station ran by the Lebanese political group Hezbollah, and broadcasts from the city of Beirut in the country Lebanon. The station was officially launched on the 4th of June 1991 as a part of the Arab States Broadcasting Union. The station was designated as a global terrorist organisation by the United States and was banned on the 17th of December 2004.[1]
