2005 Moto Guzzi Breva V 750 IE
Moto Guzzi had a nice package in the 2005 Moto Guzzi Breva V 750 IE. This compact fuel injected low mile Breva was purchased from the legendary Moto International in 2009. It’s had one previous owner and only had 1526 miles on it at that time. There are a few upgrades like the center stand kit, heated grips and the engine guards. It also has a very nice set of color matched side cases. Obviously it has not had many miles added over the years much of its time spent in a heated basement. Initial inspection and service was performed at Moto I, other basic services were performed by owner. We did get the ok for a spring service which has now been performed and it was due for a fresh set of Pirelli Demons which were also installed. This is the cleanest Breva 750’s we have seen since new and what a nice color combo. We have some service records, one factory key and a clean WA title.
PRESS
The Breva makes no pretenses at being a state-of-the-art sportsbike. It’s unashamedly aimed at newcomers to two wheels or those who simply want hassle free biking on a machine that looks good. Because of this the Breva isn’t going to set any race-rep rider’s pulse racing, but fashion conscious new bikers may well want to give it a look.
To ride, the Breva delivers exactly what it promises to do. The 750cc motor sticks with Guzzi’s traditional transverse V-twin configuration and despite looking very similar to the old 750 Nevada motor is actually all-new with fuel injection and many internal parts modified. Sitting on the bike and revving the motor the whole machine sways left and right with the motion of the crank, which is kind of cool, and once on the move there are just enough vibes through the pegs to give it a healthy dose character without being intrusive.
Through town and down twisty roads the Guzzi handles well. It feels light and is easy to change direction on, and the low seat height means that its easy to get you feet down. The Breva is a no-frills basic starter bike with a bit of street cred. The Guzzi name still carries a certain amount of coolness and the Breva does look good in the flesh.
