WINONA, Minn. — After battling through a pandemic-shortened 2020-21 season, the Saint Mary's University women's basketball team is eager to return to the hardwood under more "normal" circumstances in 2021-22.
 
The Cardinals kick off their 25-game schedule with a pair of nonconference road games, squaring off against UW-Stevens Point on Nov. 9, before heading to Martin Luther six days later.
 
Saint Mary's also opens Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on the road, opening at Macalester on Nov. 20, before finally unveiled the 2021-22 Cardinal squad to their home fans on Nov. 23 against Hamline.
 
The Cardinals will play the last of their three nonconference games on Nov. 28, when they welcome Luther to the Saint Mary's Gym, before closing out the year with 20 straight conference contests.
