TRISKEL - 3-spiral-drawing

Probably the most famous examples of the triskel, the symbol representing triplicities in ancient cosmology and theology, can be found in Newgrange in Ireland, the megalith passage tomb built about 3200BC and richly decorated with megalithic art. Often called an example of Celtic art it was in fact carved 2500 years before the people commonly referred to as the Celts reached Ireland. The triskel, or three-armed spiral, is evident on the entrance stone and on the inner walls.

To us the Triskel and the stunning design and craftsmanship that went into creating these beautiful works of art clearly represents the themes of simplicity, distinction and artistic creativity we wish to be the guiding principles of Rock Art Creative Media.

The brand name Rock Art Creative Media really came about through the idea of beginnings. The team members have a passion for ‘mythical Britain’ and Stone Age hunter-gatherer culture, and ancient rock art especially has that potential to really ignite our creative imaginations when we dwell on the idea of what life was like in our distant past.
