Made in Sicily - Italy 1950s 1960s Agatino Patane' Classical guitar.

All solid woods.
The bookmatched top has narrower grains in the middle and deeper grains at the sides.
Great rosewood fingerboard. beautiful inlays, rosette and bindings.
The bookmatched back shows an arch form (belly).
Neck is a five piece sandwich, has a small crack at the back of neck around the 1st fret, which has been succesfully repaired.
Exquisite bridge with bone nut.
Other than this repaired crack and a mini wood split at the back on the bottom, the guitar is in Very Good Condition.
At this age, despite the signs of use, it is in great condition actually. Geometrically correct and no bad side effects of wood/glue/finish aging.
The single tuning machines are the only hardware unoriginal to the guitar. They wornt out originals should have been replaced at one time in the guitars history. These recent units perform all OK with no issues.
The neck is straight, frets %80. The guitars plays nicely, intonates perfect.
The tone is loud deep and beautiful. Very chimey, lots of overtones and despite the relatively smaller size trembles with lots of power pushing the players body with resonance.

Recently has been cleaned, set-up and strung with a fresh Augistine Blue set. Only the third string G is a Savarez ( better intonation).
The guitar comes with a top of the line professional Hardcase Made in Poland Artonus Andaz in Blue fabric in &out.
Will be very well packed in carboard box.
