Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh reviews and comments

Translated by

I write a Retroeview from my Recollection of this:) I still have Phantasmagoria 1 as a 7 CD version in the Closet And P2 with its 5 CDs. Unfortunately, Steam does not support the German version either on the first or second Parts. Too bad, because there are. They May still be coming after-my Tip, they are probably licensing issues. FunFact. The German Version came much later, in the Store gabs the original only under the Counter and actually I should not have bought them at that time. Thanks to the Christmas Business at the time and the completely overwhelmed Cashier:D After a few Months you could send in the original with 20 DM (the good old Days!) and was sent a German Version weeks later. As far as I can get ready to buy them in the Store like this, there was never any. So I have something really Valuable;-) Now to the Game itself. Eye Cancer is not quite as bad as the first Part;-) In Time, however, things are different. But OK, it's just a Classic like it used to be and not an HD Remaster/remake whatever. Actually a great pity because the Material is perfect for an HD Remaster/remake. Maybe that will even come at some point (but I never suspect Phantasmagoria 1 or 2 has always been a Niche!) I personally found the Story better than that of the first Part, even if I liked the Setting of the first Part much better. It's a Pity that the Hintkeeper didn't exist like that anymore. As befits a HorroContinuation, there is significantly more Blood than the first Part. But only if you have made the right Decisions and really seen it all! Again, the Splatter Insoles vary from hard to delicate:D However, these as a young Guy once could still shock me. As with P1, I think that works in the Game today because of HD Television and quite better Effects including Corresponding movies (and also Series) and Games and tell Your today, just no more. What was already trashy at the time is now trash high ten! What remains here, as with P1, is a really interesting Retrofeeling. This is Recommended to all those who once did not have the Opportunity to play the Title but always wanted to, to all those who love Trash or who would like to experience the old, crazy Games again (anew). Everyone else ..? Fingers off;-) One Thing does P2 really well, though. There are really tons of Easter Eggs. Get a Guide and find Them all. Partly really funny Stuff in between (at Least I remember it so;-)) Also here, just like with P1-I wouldn't have added it to my Bib for the Steam original Price (since I still have the Original in the Closet) But P2 was there at the Humble Bundle and there I did for schm ales money slammed. Will I play through it again on Steam? I suspect after a short allude rather not. On my 27s it looks bad, say, bad;-)
