4-AcO-DET | Ethacetin

4-AcO-DET or Ethacetin is a novel, semi-synthetic molecule of the Tryptamine class. First synthesized by Albert Hoffman himself.

4-AcO-DET, or 4-Acetoxy-N,N-diethyltryptamine, is a rather obscure synthetic tryptamine. 4-AcO-DET is the acetylated form of 4-HO-DET. This synthetic indole alkaloid acts primarily on 5-HT2A receptors and does so rather efficiently.
